Apps

Apps are connectors with real tools — send mail, open a PR, post to Slack — not a static brochure. Connect once at the workspace, then attach the app to a task.

Free includes Gmail and Sheets. Growth unlocks the rest of the catalog, schedules, and approvals.

Connect and use

  1. Open Apps in the workspace and connect the product (OAuth or an API token, depending on the app).
  2. Open the task that should use it and enable that app.
  3. In chat, ask in plain language or type @Gmail, @Slack, @GitHub, and so on.
  4. If the task requires approval, confirm the payload before it runs. Failed tools show the error — the agent does not invent a success.

Slack, Teams, and email can also host the agent — people talk to it in those channels. That is separate from using Slack as a tool inside chat. See Share & host.
