Chat & agents
Each AI task is one agent. Chat always runs that task’s flow — not a global inbox that mixes tools and instructions.
Create a task
- Sign in at tasks.phthos.ai.
- Create an AI task and name the job (inbox triage, weekly brief, CRM follow-up).
- Open chat on that task. Pick a model in the composer.
Threads
- Several conversations per task (named threads in the rail).
- Incognito / ephemeral threads last 24 hours and stay out of history.
- Stop a run, regenerate, edit, or branch a message.
- Share a read-only link when you want someone to see the transcript without signing in as you.
Apps in chat
Connect apps on the task, then ask in plain language — or type @Gmail, @Slack, and so on to steer which tool to use. If an app isn’t connected yet, chat asks you to connect it before the action runs.
Approvals
Sensitive tools can wait for a human. Set defaults per app, then review the action before it runs. Growth and above unlock approvals and schedules.
Where else it can run
The same agent can live on a public page, in Slack or Teams, in an email inbox, or behind an API key. See Share & host.
