Skills are reusable playbooks you attach to a task. Brain is indexed knowledge the agent can search on each reply — policies, runbooks, product notes — not the whole internet.

Skills

• Write a skill once (instructions + optional examples).
• Attach it to the tasks that should follow it.
• From chat, “Save skill” prefills the composer so a good reply can become a playbook.

Brain

Upload files or sync sources into Brain. On a chat turn the agent can retrieve matching passages and ground the answer in your material instead of guessing.

• Keep policies, runbooks, and product notes in Brain rather than pasting them into every prompt.
• Attach Brain to the tasks that should use it — it is not a public search box on the internet.
• Update a source when the process changes; the next reply can pick up the new version.
